The hood not closing properly is a classic AMS problem. You can do one of two things: 1. Return it and buy the better bar from Courtesy. They have the holes cut into the tower brackets so you can feed the fuel lines through easily. Plus the hood closing issue becomes less of a problem (some people still experience it but more than likely it is due to accident history). 2. Grind down the front end posts of the AMS bar so it doesn't push up against the hood (that's what is causing it). BUt onc you grind it down, you can't return it. I've had an AMS bar on my car and it stayed on for like 5 minutes before I took it off. Honestly, I'd return it and get the better bar. Saves you headaches later.
